Nizar Damji, President
Nizar Damji is the Founder and President of 360˚ Hotel Group, overseeing company strategy, positioning and expansion. He brings to the hotel a vision of identifying and developing the right hotel product for the right market, outstanding guest service and creating a hospitable environment for employees.

Affectionately known to his staff as “Mr. D.”, Damji entered the hospitality business in 1976 with the purchase of the Ramada Inn at Northgate, a 3-story roadside motel with an onsite Denny’s. Over the years that hotel has been expanded, renovated and transformed into the 100% non-smoking Hotel Nexus, the Denny’s became the Berkshire Grill (featuring steaks, seafood and a Pacific Northwest wine list), and some of the original employees and other team members who joined in the 1970s remain. Damji expanded the hotel group in 1998 and 1999 with the development of the Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle-North/Lynnwood and the Best Western Cambridge Inn (now the Best Western Navigator Inn & Suites) in South Everett.

Damji was born in Mombasa, Kenya and currently resides in West Vancouver, BC, with his wife Mariyam. They have two grown children. Damji is a member of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army in Vancouver and is active in community affairs. He enjoys social activities and oceanfront walks.


Alif Nurani, Vice President – Finance & Development
Alif Nurani has served as Vice President – Finance & Development for 360˚ Hotel Group since 2004. He oversees renovation, expansion and construction for existing hotels as well as development opportunities. Most recently he oversaw the renovation and repositioning of the Hotel Nexus in north Seattle and the expansion, renovating and renaming of the Best Western Navigator Inn & Suites in Everett. He is committed to high quality in construction and encourages innovation in design.

Nurani’s background is in economics and manufacturing. He is a graduate of from the London School of Economics.

Born in Eldoret, Kenya and having lived in Africa, London and Canada, Nurani currently resides, in Kirkland, WA, with his wife Shaiza. He is a film, history and world music buff and enjoys running and hiking.


Shaiza Damji, Managing Director
Shaiza Damji serves as the managing director for the 360˚ Hotel Group and has held senior positions for the group since 1999. As managing director, she oversees operations, sales, financing and capital improvements of the group’s three hotels and restaurant.

Before joining the 360 Hotel Group, Damji worked for four years as an associate attorney with Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton law firm based in New York. 

She attended Yale University and graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in history in 1991. She then went on to attend Harvard Law School and graduated cum laude in 1995.

Damji is currently chairperson of the Washington State Hotel & Lodging Association. She is currently a board member for the Seattle Hotel Association, Northwest Hospital Foundation and Northgate Chamber of Commerce. She also holds the position as representative to Northgate Stakeholders Group for the Northgate Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the Yale Alumni Schools Committee.

Damji was born in Mombasa, Kenya and grew up in Vancouver, BC. She currently resides in Kirkland, WA, with her husband, Alif Nurani. In her spare time, Damji enjoys traveling, reading and bike riding. She also volunteers on special projects and scholarship interviewing for the Aga Khan Foundation.


David Mullins, Real Estate Advisor
Dave Mullins has served as a real estate and financing advisor to 360˚ Hotel Group since 2002, when he retired from US Bank after a 35 year career in banking. During his banking career he served as President of the Washington Mortgage Bankers Association and also worked as a bank examiner. A Seattle native and UW graduate, Mullins has been active in community affairs with the YMCA and the Washington State Soccer Association.

Mullins lives in Whidbey Island and West Seattle with his wife, Gretchen. They have three grown sons in Washington and California.
