Shaiza Damji, -Managing Director
Shaiza Damji serves as the Managing Director for 360° Hotel Group. She oversees the strategic direction, legal and financial matters for the company’s hotels and other investments. Shaiza graduated from Yale University with a BA in History. She then attended Harvard Law School where she received a JD law degree. She practiced international corporate law at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton in New York before returning to the west coast in 1999 to join her family’s hospitality business.
Shaiza has served as a Board member and Chairperson of the Washington State Hotel & Lodging Association and as a board member of the Seattle Hotel Association. She is currently a board member of UW Medicine - Northwest Hospital in Seattle as well as the Institute of Flight (formerly known as the Future of Flight Foundation) which is a STEM education non-profit that also operates the Future of Flight Interpretive Center and Boeing Factory Tour. She has also volunteered extensively with the Aga Khan Development Network. Marriott International recently appointed Shaiza to the TownePlace Suites brand Franchisee Advisory Council.
Shaiza was born in Mombasa, Kenya and grew up in Vancouver, BC. She currently resides in Bellevue, Washington, with her husband, Alif Nurani, and their two young boys.
Alif Nurani, -Executive Vice President –Finance & Development
Alif Nurani has served as Vice President – Development for 360° Hotel Group since 2005. He oversees and manages land acquisition and all aspects of new development as well as renovation, expansion and construction of existing hotels within the 360 portfolio. He is committed to high quality construction and innovative design. Examples of ground-up development include the first Marriott Springhill Suites and Marriott TownePlace Suites co-branded hotel in the Marriott system (which was also the first co branded hotel in Washington); and development of the IHG Staybridge Suites hotel in Mukilteo. Large renovation projects include expansion of the Best Western Navigator Inn & Suites in Everett from 76 to 102 rooms including conceptualization of the Boeing 727 wing porte cochere and Fokker F-28 awning; overseeing the complete renovation and repositioning of a 30 year old Ramada Inn into the affordable chic Hotel Nexus; and overseeing the Hilton mandated Perfect Mix lobby and Forever Young guestroom PIPs at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Lynnwood.
Alif’s background is in economics and woven plastic fabrics and packaging manufacturing. His signature innovation in manufacturing include the development and commercial application of skid resistant lumber wrap, freshness maintaining bulk tea packaging and golf course green protection and drainage covers. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics.
Born in Eldoret, Kenya and having lived in Kenya, London and Canada, Alif currently resides in Bellevue, Washington, with his wife Shaiza and two boys. He is a film, history and world music buff and enjoys running and hiking.
Amaan Kurji, -Chief Operating Officer
Amaan Kurji serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the 360° Hotel Group. He brings to his role of managing the group’s hotel operations and sales, an educational background in hospitality management, extensive retail operations experience and a passion for training and people development.
Prior to joining the 360° Hotel Group, Amaan worked in the retail industry, serving in sales and senior management roles.
Amaan was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya and also spent a number of years living and working in Canada. He is an avid golfer and lives with his wife and three children in Kirkland, Washington.
Shawn Walker, -Vice President of People & Performance
Shawn joined 360° Hotel Group in 2006, as General Manager of the Hampton Inn & Suites in Lynnwood, Washington. In February, 2008, he became the Director of Operations & HR for 360 Hotel Group. Shawn has worked in the hotel industry for the past 27 years, for both private and public entities including such corporations as Hilton Hotels, DoubleTree, Promus, RFS, Red Lion and West Coast.
Shawn has served on many boards and associations, including franchise co-ops, chambers, tourism boards, airport board of directors, Snohomish County Lodging Association and currently serves on the Snohomish County Tax Advisory Committee and is Chairman of the Snohomish Tourism Promotional Area or TPA. Shawn lives with his wife and five children in Arlington, Washington.
Nikki Brame, -Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Nikki Brame’s hospitality journey began with us in 2009 as Sales Manager at the Hotel Nexus when she relocated to Seattle. In 7 years Nikki has successfully fast tracked her progress within the company.
Nikki Brame now oversees sales and marketing for all 6 hotels of the 360 ̊ Hotel Group. Her responsibilities encompass developing/implementing a tactical sales process, data analysis, revenue monitoring, marketing/advertising, budget collaboration, team cohesiveness and training, coaching/mentoring, client retention, new business development, and driving sales progression.
Nikki brings to the team a 35+ year professional span with Fortune 500 companies. Her vast expertise in sales and call center management/development/training, marketing/public relations, building/defining markets, and task force leader precedes her.
Nikki studied at Academy of Medical Arts and Business in Pennsylvania. She is currently enrolled in Business Management at Penn Foster College.
Nikki and her husband Rich reside in Stanwood, Washington, surrounded locally by 3 adult children and their families. Nikki writes poetry for relaxation and is an active member of several poetry associations.
Kevin Eld, -Vice President of Facilities
Kevin Eld has worked with 360° Hotel Group in various capacities since 1990 including Chief Engineer and Vice President of Facilities Maintenance. In his current role he is responsible for property improvement projects for existing hotels within 360° Hotel Group and ownership responsibilities within the construction of new developments. Kevin conducts the symphony of subcontractors while utilizing 360’s own team of experienced renovation and installation specialists to execute renovations and special projects.
Kevin and his wife Debbie live in Bellevue, Washington and have three grown children.
Tim Cordodor, -Director of Hotel Performance
Tim joined 360º Hotel Group as the General Manager of Hotel Nexus in 2009 after 5 years of experience in Best Western Brand. In addition, his history in retail management and information technology has helped him provide insight and expertise in areas outside the core of hospitality. As Director of Hotel Performance, Tim supports the revenue management process, expense control and other core performance metrics as well as the guest experience, ecommerce and reputation management and occasionally he acts in a GM role during hotel transitions. He has a passion for problem solving and implementing new technologies in the workplace. Tim studied business administration at Washington State University (GO COUGS!) and lives with his wife and daughter in Everett, WA.
Deborah Mott, -Director of Employee Experience
Deborah Mott joined our family in December 2017. She serves in a new position as Director of Employee Experience and is new to the hospitality industry. Deborah has worked in the private sector, healthcare, secondary education, and both federal and city government. Past roles include human resources, project management, accounting, teaching and counseling. Deb's passion is working collaboratively to develop a corporate culture of adventurous, engaged and empathetic staff—people who love what they do and who they do it with and for. She is also an ardent advocate for Lean management and continuous process improvement. Deborah has Masters Degrees in Counseling Psychology and Communications. She lives in Edmonds with three teenagers, two cats and a beagle and enjoys cardio dance, cooking, working on puzzles and reading.
Randi Sue Andrews, -Controller
Randi Sue Andrews started working in 360 Hotel Group’s accounting department in 2002 when the corporate offices were located at our Hotel Nexus (then Ramada Inn). At the time she joined 360, she had over 15 years’ experience in accounting in the General Construction, Wine Sales & Marketing and Apartment Management Industries. She moved into the Controller position in 2016.
Randi was integral in the transition to and implementation of our web based accounting system, M3, in 2008. She oversees a 3-person accounting team that works out of the corporate office in Lynnwood to prepare month-end statements and take care of all customary accounting functions. Randi also coordinates with our CPA firm for annual CPA-reviewed financial statements.
Randi lives in Monroe, Washington. She has two grown children and four grandchildren. She is an avid Seattle Seahawks fan and plays in an amateur pool (billiards) league.
Dave Smoots, -Development Coordinator
Dave is originally from San Juan Island but grew up on a farm on Conway Hill south of Mount Vernon. He was active in 4H and FFA growing up, raising beef cattle. After graduating from Mount Vernon High School, Dave went to the University of Washington and studied building construction. He began his career in construction in the summer of 1972, eventually becoming a journeyman carpenter. In 1987, Dave moved into project management and site supervision. Over the years Dave assisted in the design and construction of numerous commercial projects. Since 2003 Dave has help build 9 hotels including hotel brands affiliated with Hilton, Intercontinental and Best Western. Dave is currently working on 3 new Marriott hotel projects for 360 Hotel Group.
Dave lives on a one acre lot on the edge of Burlington, WA
Evonne Solomon, -AP Specialist
My name is Evonne Salomon and I work in the Accounting Department and handle the Accounts Payable. I also assist Alif and Kevin with our Hotel Renovation Projects by getting orders in motion and ensuring things run smoothly on the paperwork end of things. I started work here in the Corporate office as of April 2015 and I really enjoy contributing in any way that I can.
Elaine Santiago, -General Accountant
Elaine came on board April 2015 as a General Accountant with over 12 years of accounting experience. Elaine is involved in preparing Month-end financials that includes P&L Variance reviews for GMs, Market Segment Reports for the sales team, B&O taxes, Yearly property taxes, as well as, a support to Randi Sue, Controller.
Elaine is Married with 3 children and 2 dogs. During years of raising children after taking a little break from her fulltime accounting career Elaine had a small business designing fused art glass and Custom Jewelry Design.
A little tidbit…….While attending college Elaine worked as a Front Desk Attendant at Hilton Fremont/Newark, CA (now a DoubleTree Hotel ) and The Fairmont Hotel- San Jose, CA.
Patty Davis, -General Accountant
Patty joined the 360 Hotel Group’s Accounting Team in September 2017. Where she is an integral part of the month-end financial reporting. She has helped to streamline several processes and has focused on monthly reconciliations when not closing month-end.
Over the last 30 years, Patty’s accounting background has given her the opportunity to work in a variety of industries, including banking, consulting firms, machine shops and a manufacturer representative. She is excited to add hospitality to the list.
She is married with 3 children and 2 grandchildren. When she is not in the office working or at home sewing or knitting, you may find her out on a trail with her Morgan horse, Bill.
