Alif Nurani has served as Vice President – Development for 360° Hotel Group since 2005. He oversees and manages land acquisition and all aspects of new development as well as renovation, expansion and construction of existing hotels within the 360 portfolio. He is committed to high quality construction and innovative design. Examples of ground-up development include the first Marriott Springhill Suites and Marriott TownePlace Suites co-branded hotel in the Marriott system (which was also the first co branded hotel in Washington); and development of the IHG Staybridge Suites hotel in Mukilteo. Large renovation projects include expansion of the Best Western Navigator Inn & Suites in Everett from 76 to 102 rooms including conceptualization of the Boeing 727 wing porte cochere and Fokker F-28 awning; overseeing the complete renovation and repositioning of a 30 year old Ramada Inn into the affordable chic Hotel Nexus; and overseeing the Hilton mandated Perfect Mix lobby and Forever Young guestroom PIPs at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Lynnwood.

Alif’s background is in economics and woven plastic fabrics and packaging manufacturing. His signature innovation in manufacturing include the development and commercial application of skid resistant lumber wrap, freshness maintaining bulk tea packaging and golf course green protection and drainage covers. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics.

Born in Eldoret, Kenya and having lived in Kenya, London and Canada, Alif currently resides in Bellevue, Washington, with his wife Shaiza and two boys. He is a film, history and world music buff and enjoys running and hiking.
