My first 360 position was as an AM Front Desk Agent.

I applied to 360 (Staybridge) because I live nearby. I was looking for an opportunity within a company and industry where I could learn the ropes and eventually move up and take on a greater leadership role. At the time, I was working in phlebotomy in Seattle and did not like the commute or the constantly changing hours based on which location or blood drive needed an experienced technician.

The things I have come to enjoy about 360 are the close relationships and friendships I have with many of the people I work with.  The industry seems to have a way of producing new challenges to overcome, and these opportunities create the atmosphere where team-based problem-solving thrives.  When time and opportunity intersect, I really enjoy being able to connect with our guests face-to-face.  Learning their stories and building rapport with guests has afforded me countless opportunities to personalize our customer service approach, establishing a mutual goodwill that further fuels my satisfaction.

My (work-appropriate) guiding principle is that it is never about what we cannot do. Instead, it is about what we can do.

MOST INTERESTING THING ABOUT YOU THAT’S NOT WORK-RELATED

I once saved someone’s life by performing a bilateral needle thoracostomy (needle decompression) on a patient who was suffering from a tension hemopneumothorax after a motor vehicle accident.

I also briefly dated a C-list celebrity from a ’90s sitcom about a packed domicile.
